It is asserted that the use of this image in articles pertaining to or in reference to Glasgow Golf Club and its associated properties qualifies as fair use for the following reasons:

• It is a low-resolution copy of the logo;
• It does not affect the market for the original work — this is a logo created to promote a corporation, not a commercial work sold to the public for profit;
• By the nature of the image, no free alternative is possible;
