Deutsch: Beschreibung: Gicht und Schlupfwespen gehören zur Gattung der Gasteruption. Gichtwespen (Gasteruptiidae) leben vorwiegend parasitisch bei verschiedenen Bienenarten. Ein charakteristisches Kennzeichen des Körperbaus bei dieser Familie ist, dass der Ansatz des Hinterleibsstieles an der Brust im Verlauf der Evolution nach oben gewandert ist und dadurch der Hinterleib im Flug meist himmelwärts gerichtet ist.Bei Ruhe ist der Hinterleib in einem leichten Bogen nach oben oder unten gebogen. Für die Gattung ist typisch, dass die Beine, zumindest die Oberschenkel, keulig verdickt sind und die schwarzen Tiere entweder eine rote Einfärbungen am Rumpf zeigen. English: Description: Gasteruptiidae is one of the more distinctive among the Apocritan wasps, with surprisingly little variation in appearance for a group that contains around 500 species in 9 genera worldwide. The propleura form an elongated "neck", the petiole attaches very high on the propodeum, and the hind tibiae are swollen and club-like.
