Summary

Description
English: George Armour Sculpture On the underside of the dome there appears to be a gas fitting. Now situated at the bottom of the old railway cutting, the inscription reads: "the gift of George Armour, Esq, of Chicago U.S., a native of this town, 1881". I believe the Armour family still has a presence in the Campbeltown area; have a look at Geograph's member list.
