DescriptionGenesis - Last Domino? Tour - 25 March 2022.jpg
On the penultimate night of their "The Final Domino?" tour, British prog-rock superstars Genesis rocked the O2 Arena in London in front of a near-capacity crowd of devotees (including me!). A well balanced set included favourites Firth of Fifth, Cinema Show, Carpet Crawlers, The Lamb Lies down on Broadway (Acoustic version), Dancing out with the Moonlit Knight counter-pointed by those massive hit singles - Invisible Touch, Land of Confusion, I Know What I like, Follow You Follow Me, I Can't Dance and classic album tracks Duchess, Mama, Duke's End, Domino, Home by the Sea / 2nd Home by the Sea and more.
Although it was rather sad to see Phil Collins having to sit down (following s spinal operation), his voice was on good form. Banks skipped bits from some of his parts and didn't crack a smile all night, but Rutherford was clearly enjoying himself together with Daryl Stuermer and young Nik Collins on the drum kit. Superb visuals and light show with more than 120 vari-lights (well, they did pioneer their use back in the 70s!) made for a great evening's entertainment.
