The museum is situated in the fortress on the hill in the heart of town. The citadel is riddled with underground corridors that have been used to house a “Panorama” museum. It shows scenes from the struggle to get rid of French occupation in the aftermath of the first world war. In (probably fake) bronzes these scenes paint a lively picture of great suffering and heroism.
