English: When British Caledonian first started the Manchester (MAN) / London-Gatwick (LGW) service, it was twice daily on these British Island Airways Heralds. The morning southbound was a nightstop while the morning northbound went through to Blackpool (BLK) to operate for BIA during the day, before returning late afternoon to continue southbound.
