The Victory Day (Tag der Befreiung) had been celebrated in the former GDR. Workers of local corporations at the obligatory wreath ceremony at the soviet honour monement at the market of Friesack on 8 May 1969. Picture was contributed from the private archiv of Mr. Kirchert under GNU-permittion.
