DescriptionFormer diplomat and hostage in the Iran Hostage Crisis Robert Anders.jpg
Former U.S. diplomat Robert Anders holds up the business card made for him as part of the ruse to get him and five other Americans out of Tehran during the Iran Hostage Crisis that began in 1979. The hostages ended up posing as a Canadian film crew from the fake company Studio 6 in Iran supposedly doing site visits for a sci-fi thriller called Argo. A movie of the same name, recently released to wide acclaim, has brought the Iran Hostage Crisis, also called the Canadian Caper, back into the consciousness of Canadians, Americans and citizens worldwide.
