The D.C. metro area experienced one of its snowiest in history during the Winter of 2009-2010 with a total of five or more feet of snow across much of the DC area. In the February "Snowmageddon" storm alone, AOC employees cleared more than 22 million pounds of snow from the Capitol grounds. This official Architect of the Capitol photograph is being made available for educational, scholarly, news or personal purposes (not advertising or any other commercial use).
