Summary

Description American Flamingos Phoenicopterus ruber, Río Lagartos, Yucatán, Mexico. We took a guided tour up to Rio Lagartos with MexiGo tours. They were doing the Flamingo Dance in this shot. Apparently it is often a precursor to flight, but not this time. It _is_ impressive to see them all march in formation. This is only a small portion of the flock.
