Прямоугольное белое полотнище с отношением ширины к длине 2:3, имеющее вдоль древка жёлтую полосу шириной в 1/4 длины полотнища, в верхней части которой — старин­ная зелёная княжеская шапка с чёрной опушкой и жёлтым над ней украшением („городком“) с красным самоцветным камнем. На основной части полотнища изображены фигуры из герба городского поселения (в версии без вольной части) — чёрный токующий тетерев-косач с красными бровями и белыми верхними перьями в распущенном хвосте, на груди и на двойных поперечных полосах на крыльях, стоящий на синей с жёлтыми швами зубчатой стене, в центре которой — белая подкова двумя шипами вниз, над которой — жёлтый уширенный крест, а внутри которой — белый такой же крест.
