EL VERDE: Representa nuestros campos, los cultivos frutos grandes esfuerzos de los campesinos donde reflejan sus esperanzas de progreso. EL ROJO: Significa el Patriotismo que llevan nuestros corazones por el Amor a nuestra Patria Chica. EL BLANCO: Símbolo de Paz y Tranquilidad, pureza de nuestra Fe a la Patrona de nuestro Municipio 1a VIRGEN DE LA SALUD. ESTRELLA AMARILLA: Representa la Inteligencia y Superación de los Paramunos y nuestro municipio como Centro Turístico Nacional."
