Summary

Description
English: The First National Bank of Utah constructed this 4-story building at 163 S Main St. in Salt Lake City in 1873. When the building opened, it was heralded as, "unquestionably the finest bank in the United States, if not the world." The bank soon folded. An 1875 fire in the building reduced it to three stories.
