Description US Air Force (USAF) Airman First Class (A1C) William Gilmer (background), a F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft Crew Chief, assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron (EMXS), conducts an engine running operation check as USAF Airman First Class (A1C) Brent Brooks, Munitions Handler, arms the GBU-12 Pave II 500-pound Laser Guided Bombs on the aircraft at a forward deployed base in Southwest Asia, during Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. The aircraft also carries AMI-9 Sidewinder Missiles and AIM-120 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-air Missiles.
