DescriptionEx-Brussels tram on display by former train station in Asunción in 2006.jpg
Tram on display by the former train station at Plaza Uruguaya, in Asunción, Paraguay. Asunción's last tram line (route 5) closed in 1995. The last trams in use came secondhand from Brussels, Belgium in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The tram in the photo (no. 9006) was placed on display here in 2005, but after being vandalized in 2007, it was moved to another location.
