Etatsråd <a href="http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andreas_Rogert" rel="nofollow">Andreas Rogert</a> representerteTrondhjem ved Riksforsamlingen på Eidsvoll i 1814 og var denne forsamlingens første visepresident. Rogerts kjernesaker var å få vedtatt tronfølgeloven og å få grunnlovsfestet at kongekroningene skulle legges til Trondhjem.
