En camp de gules, un llenç de muralla d'or [en realitat, “portal de muralla del tipus d’arc triomfal” segons el Consell d'Heràldica 1 ]amb dues torres en els extrems coronades per pinacles, maçonat i aclarit de sable, somat d'un sit o francolí d'argent passant a destra. Al timbre corona reial oberta». Aprovat per Resolució de 30 de setembre de 2008 (DOCV núm. 5.874, de 20 d'octubre de 2008). Els colors són els que hi apareixen al annex IV del Decret 72/2015, de 15 de maig. Español: Escudo municipal de Vilafranca (Castellón, España): «Escudo cuadrilongo de punta redonda. En campo de gules, un lienzo de muralla de oro [en realidad, “portal de muralla del tipo arco triunfal” según el Consell d'Heràldica 1 ], con dos torres a los extremos coronadas de pináculos, mazonado y aclarado de sable, sumado de un “sit” o francolín de plata pasante a derecha. Al timbre corona real abierta». Aprobado por Resolución de 30 de septiembre de 2008 (DOCV núm. 5.874, de 20 de octubre de 2008).
