Forma de hexágono, con el emblema “Municipio Carmen De Carupa Cundinamarca” Y en la parte inferior “Paz, Amor Y Trabajo”, dividido en tres cuadros así: parte superior lado izquierdo una pica y un azadón que representa los elementos con que se labra la tierra; parte superior lado derecho dos espigas de cebada, tres papas y una vaina de arveja que representa los productora agrícolas; y en el cuadro inferior que es la mitad del escudo cuatro cimas, con un caserío al fondo, un cordero y la cabeza de un vacuno que representa la topografía y ganadería de la región.
