English: Drukgyal Dzong is a fortress and Buddhist monastery, now in ruins, located in Paro District, Bhutan. The dzong was built by Tenzin Drukdra in 1649.
Drukgyal Dzong is one of the forts with well preserved original features of a defensive structure. It has several ta-dzongs (watching forts) cylindrical in shape.
