English: Ex USAAF Douglas B-23 N86E of John W. Mecom stored at Athens (Hellinikon) Airport. Douglas B-23 bomber (USAAF serial 39-59) using DC-3 wings. This aircraft converted to UC-67 transport role. Sold to Pan Am in 1945. Bought by Mecom Oil in 1964. Instructional airframe for the Delta Technical School in the 1970s, broken up in the Summer of 1986.
