Summary

Description
English: Corona Bar, Crossmyloof, at the location of the original village, at the junction between Langside Avenue and Pollockshaws Road in Glasgow. The 1912 building by James. H. Craigie of the Glasgow architects Clarke and Bell is on the site of earlier pubs – it claims to have been established in 1817. Tiling on the doorstep and plaster image above the doorways show a cross on the palm of a hand, supposedly the origin of the name of the village. Reference: Blaikie, Gerald (2-18).
