Description I've seen quite a few examples of "recycling" in which an ancient structure (usually an ancient Roman or Greek temple) was re-purposed as a Christian church, but this is the oldest example I've ever seen. The 6,000+ year-old dolmen was most likely used for some religious purpose thousands of years before Christianity -- or even Judaism -- existed. About 350 years ago, the ancient dolmen was plastered over and converted to a small chapel.
