David Shayman, aka up-and-coming hip hop producer, remixer, Ghettotech proliferator (and rumored coiner of the genre's name) Disco D, committed suicide earlier today at age 27, according to MTV.com. pitchforkmedia.com/page/news/2007/1/23/Producer_Disco_D_C...

The above shot was taken when he played at our Boombox in 2002,

at Burningman Decompression. He was one talented DJ and a cool dude.
