Summary

Description
English: A historical spade and a picture showing the reason in Danmarks Jernbanemuseum in Odense in Denmark. When the Danish minister of transport Gunnar Larsen had to take the ceremonial first dig at the construction of Fugleflugtslinjen in 1941 the spade broke. The Danes laughed before another spade was used for the dig. The defect spade eventually ended in the museum.
