This photo was mirrored to make the description easier to follow. It is a composite of two pictures taken in sequence with the same plugs inserted and unplugged. The setting is real, although additional plugs were inserted in unused sockets for the photo. The plugs, socket, wall, cable duct etc. really are black and white, this is not an artifact of the B/W image.
