Deutsch: „In Rot drei aufgerichtete goldene (gelbe) Kurzschwerter über einem goldenen (gelben) Dreiberg im Schildfuß.“ Das Wappen wurde der alten Gemeinde am 16. Januar 1939 verliehen und am 16. Dezember 1969 zur Weiterführung genehmigt. Die Kurzschwerter = Sassen = Sax und der Dreiberg sind als redende Symbole für den Ortsnamen = Sachsenberg in das Wappen aufgenommen worden.
English: „Gules, above a triple mountain Or, three raising short swords Or.“ The arms were first granted on January 16, 1939 and last on December 16, 1969. The arms are canting, three small swords, or Saxen, and a mountain, (Berg) in the base. Sassenberg was supposedly derived from "Sachsenberg". The colours are derived from the colours of the State of Münster, to which the area historically belonged.
