Object history
Deutsch: Im Schultheißenamtssiegel von 1930 ist ein geteilter Schild zu sehen, dessen oberes Feld eine nicht sicher gedeutete wiegenähnliche Figur enthält, während die untere bereits das – ohne Farben überlieferte – Wappen des Igginger Ortsadels aufweist. Im Jahre 1957 setzte die Gemeinde das letztere allein in ihren Schild, wobei die Gmünder Farben Silber und Rot sowie die limpurgischen Farben Silber und Blau als Hinweis auf den einstigen Besitz der Stadt Schwäbisch Gmünd und der Schenken von Limpurg Verwendung fanden. Das Innenministerium hat dieses Wappen und die Flagge am 19. September 1957 verliehen.
