Deutsch: Das von Willi Wagner aus Ohlweiler entworfene und am 15.Februar 1980 durch die Bezirksregierung Koblenz genehmigte Wappen zeigt vorn die Symbole der ehemaligen kurpfälzischen Landesherren und erinnert gleichzeitig an das frühere Fürstentum Pfalz-Simmern. Die Ähren stehen für die Landwirtschaft und der Wellenbalken steht sowohl redend für den Ortsnamen als auch für den durch den Ort fließenden Simmerbach. |
