Object history
Deutsch: Eisingen kam im Laufe des 15. Jahrhunderts an die Markgrafen von Baden, die schließlich 1495 das letzte Viertel des Ortes erwerben konnten. Schon zwei Jahre später, 1497, wurde das erste Siegel gestochen, das bereits Pflugschar und Rebmesser als landwirtschaftliche Bildsymbole in einem Wappenschild zeigt. Der Weinbau hat eine lange Tradition im Ort. Die Pflugschar begegnet als Ortszeichen auch auf den Grenzsteinen des Dorfes. Beide Bilder schmückten in unterschiedlicher Anordnung die späteren Siegel, bis die Gemeinde 1902 auf Vorschlag des Generallandesarchivs das noch heute gebräuchliche Wappen in der dem ältesten Siegelbild nachempfundenen Zeichnung der Symbole und mit der an die badischen Farben angelehnten Tingierung annahm. Die Flagge wurde am 15. Januar 1985 vom Landratsamt Enzkreis verliehen.
