English: Portrait of King John V of Portugal from 1729 by Jean Ranc, who went to Portugal to depict the royal family before the so-called Exchange of Princesses that year, when both crown princes of the Iberian kingdoms married a princess of the neighbouring kingdom by the river Caia on the border.
