| Description |
English: Cross House, Canongate. A mid-17thC building, adapted in the early 18thC as the Skinners' Hall. In the middle of the 19thC a further wing was added when Dr. Guthrie used the building to pioneer his successful non-sectarian 'ragged school'. In 1982, it was converted into residential accommodation.
