| Purpose of use |
Main infobox. The image is used for identification in the context of critical commentary of the band. It makes a significant contribution to the user's understanding of the article, which could not practically be conveyed by words alone. The image is placed in the infobox at the top of the article discussing the band, to show a strong visual image identifying the band and what they are notable for (performing music), and to help the user quickly identify the band and know they have found what they are looking for. Use for this purpose does not compete with the interests of the copyright holder. |

The image is believed to be irreplaceable because the original band broke up in 1982 and two of the primary members are deceased. Therefore no new free image could be created that would adequately convey the same information, and no suitable free alternatives from the original band's period of activity have been found. Should any such free alternatives be found, they should be uploaded in place of this image. |
