Русский: Герб Калачёвского муниципального района Волгоградской области

Номер в Геральдическом регистре РФ: 4212

Описание: Герб района представляет собой традиционный для российской геральдики прямоугольный геральдический щит с отношением высоты к ширине 4:3. В геральдической терминологии описание Герба района звучит следующим образом. В червленом поле с лазуревой волнообразной главою, окантованной золотом и обремененной пучком из одиннадцати колосьев (по числу литер в слове Калачевский), золотой якорь, поверх которого накрест насека и бунчук того же металла. Щит увенчан муниципальной короной установленного образца. Основа герба - золотой якорь, означающий, что город и район славятся речными пристанями, портом, судоходным каналом. Бунчук и насека - символ военной и гражданской власти атаманов всех степеней, указывают, что это донская земля, место традиционного проживания казаков. Колосья пшеницы - богатый хлебородный край (приложение N 1).

Утвержден Решением Калачевской районной Думы Волгоградской области (33-е очередное заседание) (#300) от 27 июня 2008 года.
