Summary
| Description |
English: The view of Chandragup I mud volcano, Balochistan from the base. There is a new road built to access the Volcano site. After the road ends continue the journey towards the volcano on dry surface. The landsacpe is void of any tree or shade. The temperature is boiling hot during the day so make sure you are properly hydrated before you climb up the mud volcano. There are two routes on the northern face to climb up with rope to assist the climb and the local person who has installed them charges Rs. 10 for it. The top of mud volcano is flat filled with mud but do not step into it. It's more of a quick sand but much dangerous as it is deep and the texture of mud is thin with bursts of bubbles of hot air coming to the surface occasionally. Do not get down from the alternate route from the otherside. It looks easier but once you get down there is a maze of deep pits and paths before you reach the ground.
Use the northern face to climb the Volacno and for the decent. Avoid southern part. |
