English: Plaque on building where Azerbaijani writer Yusif Vazir Chamanzaminli lived in Baku - 20 Sardarov Street. Plaque on building from the Soviet period reads in Azeri (Cyrillic script): "Prominent Azerbaijani writer Y.V. Chamanzaminli (1887-1943) lived and created his literary works here." Residents living in the building feared that it would soon be demolished and replaced with a high-rise apartment complex, Photo: 2008.
