Summary

Description
English: European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus). Rabbits are one of Australia's most widespread and destructive pest animals threatening the viability of native plant and animal species. They contribute to soil erosion by removing vegetation and disturbing soil and they compete with native wildlife for food and shelter, increasing their exposure to the danger of predators.
