| Description |
Nederlands: Doos (onderdeel). Een houten offerdoos voor het bewaren van kostbare ingredienten die een Balinese priester gebruikte bij rituelen. De doos is in de vorm van een gestileerde hemelberg en versierd met lotusbladeren. Erom heen kronkelt zich een slang, waarschijnlijk Anantabhoga. De voorstelling verwijst naar de mythe van het karnen van de wereldzee door de goden. Zij gebruikten voor het karnen van de wereldzee een schilpad als stut. De werelberg werd rondgetrokken door een slang die als touw gebruikt werd. Hierdoor ontstond het heilige amrta, de drank der goden.
