CLAIRE ADAMS was born in Winnipeg, Canada, and received her education in a local private school for girls, taking a finishing course in London, England. While attending school Miss Adams developed a fondness for dramatics, and her success in amateur theatricals prompted her to seek a professional engagement. Just at this time the World War broke on the horizon, and Claire immediately turned her time and attention to the needs of her country, devoting her time to the service. With the end of the war in sight, Miss Adams had made all plans to continue her career, but again something occurred to sidetrack her stage plans. This time the silent drama beckoned, with the result that she made her debut on the silver sheet in Hollywood. Miss Adams is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 125 lbs., and has black hair and brown eyes.
