The station was closed to passengers when the branch service ceased on 2/6/52, but goods continued until 28/12/64 although Burnham - Market - Wells was closed after being breached by the sea in the floods of 31/1-1/2/53. [The 'engine' in the yard is 'fun' road vehicle - I know nothing about it!] |
