For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Wehrwirtschaftsführer Dr. Ing. E.h. Günther Quandt. begeht am 28.7. seinen 60. Geburtstag. Der bekannte Großindustrieelle, der Vorsitzender des Vorstands bzw. des Aufsichtsrates zahlreicher wehrwirtschaftlich wichtiger Werke ist, wurde im Jahre 1937 durch Reichsmarschall Göring in Anerkennung seiner Verdienste um die Wehrhaftmachung Großdeutschlands zum Wehrwirtschaftsführer ernannt. |
