For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild / Loewe / 1.5.1958 / Walter Ulbricht auf der Kundgebung bei den Dresdner Flugzeugbauern
Unter den festlichen Klängen eines Orchesters und dem Jubel vieler tausend Arbeiter, Ingenieure und Angestellter der volkseigenen Luftfahrtindustrie öffnete sich am 30.4.1958 das riesige Tor der Montagehalle der Flugzeugwerke Dresden, aus der sich der silberne Leib des hallenfertigen Strahlturbinenverkehrsflugzeuges "152" heraus bewegte. In Gegenwart des 1. Sekretärs des ZK der SED Walter Ulbricht, teilte der Direktor der Flugzeugwerke, Rentsch, den Teilnehmern der Kundgebung mit, das damit der gestellte Kampftermin zur Fertigstellung dieser Maschine erfüllt worden ist. UBz: Das Strahlturbinenverkehrsflugzeug "152". |
