ADN-Rainer Weisflog 8.11.90 Eisenhüttenstadt: Wie technishe Denkmäler sehen die Hochöfen aus der Gründerzeit des Eisenhüttenkombinates Ost aus. Von ehemals sechs arbeiten nur noch vier. In Zukunft werden von den vormals 12.000 Arbeitskräften nur noch 7.000 in der EKO-Stahl AG Arbeit finden. Mehr als 700 gingen bereits in den Vorruhestand, andere werden durch die Ausgliederung von Betriebsteilen einen neuen Arbeitsplatz erhalten.Neben den allgemeinen Umstellungsproblemen belasten die Aktiengesellschaft die Stahlkrise in der Europäischen Gemeinschaft sowie die aus dem chronischen Mangel der Vergangenheit herrührende, noch nicht geschlossene technologische Produktionskette. |
