| Description |
English: Second cottage of German architect Bruno Ahrends (1878–1948) in Zehlendorf near Berlin. It was built between 1921 and 1925 and had a direct access to Großer Wannsee. The estate was in the property of his father, the banker Barthold Arons (1850–1933) who lived in Villa Arons in the neighbourship. He was an enthusiastic yachtsman.
Deutsch: 1921–1925 erbautes zweites Landhaus des Berliner Architekten Bruno Ahrends (1878–1948) in der Colonie Alsen, Am Großen Wannsee 6. Der Gebäudekomplex entstand auf dem Grundstück seines Vaters, des Berliner Bankiers Barthold Arons (1850–1933). Dieser bewohnte ab 1880 die Villa Arons, Am Großen Wannsee 5, und hatte die Grundstücke Am Großen Wannsee 6 und 6A, die einen direkten Zugang zum Seeufer ermöglichten. Barthold Arons war ein begeisterter Wassersportler. |
