This is a picture of Botobrikhkho- an ancient tree termed as botobrikhkho which are found in the subcontinent. This picture shows such a tree which is more than two hundred years old and planted by an old woman who didn't marry in her life time , came from an unknown place to this place and start living and plant two of these trees. The old woman is kalled there "Buri" and the place surrounded by a river and occupied by two "Botobrikhkho" is called "Burir Tak"means Buri's place. The Buri is now a legend and has a lot of devotee in this place .Each year in the last tues day of the month Falgun in bengali a festival is held here , lot of music and goods are gathered, a replica of "The Buri " is created and is pledged by the devotee along with the replica of Maa Kali.
