Summary

Description
English: According to the Lonely Planet Guide, this mid-19th century statue was taken to London after the British annexation, and only returned to Burma in 1951. It is housed in a separate pavilion near the stupa; the mirrored wall decoration is like the decoration inside the stupa. Botahtaung is an alternate spelling of this temple.
