Français : Tour d'aération du fort de Boncelles, un des éléments de la Position fortifiée de Liège (Belgique). Au pied de la tour : un bunker destiné à défendre la prise d'air. Etat en 1994.
La friche de la tour d'aération est une friche à fromental (Arrhenartherum elacius), installée sur le socle en béton de la tour et sur les terrains remaniés environnants (± 1250 m²). En 1995, dix-huit espèces de spermatophytes (plantes à fleurs) y ont été recensées. Le site présente un certain nombre d'espèces caractéristiques des milieux rudéralisés telles que la chélidoine (Chelidonium majus), la mauve musquée (Malva moschata), le millepertuis commun (Hypericum perforatum), la matricaire inodore (Matricaria maritima subsp. inodora), l'ortie (Urtica dioica), ... Quelques mousses croissent sur le socle en béton exposé à l'W (Tortula muralis, Orthotrichum anomalum, Bryum argenteum, Didymodon sp.), ainsi que quelques lierres (Hedera helix). Recensements réalisés par Philippe Martiny. Dans le bunker, des papillons comme le paon du jour(Inachis io), hivernent à l'état adulte. |
