Deutsch: Geschäftshaus "Am Bullenwinkel" am Hausvogteiplatz 3-4 in Berlin-Mitte, erbaut 1892-1893 vom Büro Alterthum & Zadek. Das Gebäude wurde nach dem Durchbruch der Taubenstraße (links) zum Hausvogteiplatz auf einem unregelmäßig geformten Grundstück errichtet. An der Fassade wurden Veränderungen der Nachkriegszeit bei der Renovierung 1996-1997 rückgängig gemacht, sodass das Haus heute wieder seine originale Gestalt besitzt. In dem Gebäude befindet sich heute unter anderem die Botschaft der Republik Slowenien und das "Infocenter Wiederaufbau Berliner Schloss". Es steht unter Denkmalschutz.
English: Commercial building "Am Bullenwinkel" ("At the Bulls' Corner") at Hausvogteiplatz 3-4 in Berlin-Mitte, built 1892-1893 by the architectural office Alterthum and Zadek. It was constructed on an irregularly shaped lot after two building had been torn down to make a breach from Taubenstraße (on the left) to Hausvogteiplatz. Post-WWII alterations to the facade were reversed during renovation from 1996 to 1997, thus giving the building back its original outlook. It is now seat of the Embassy of Slovenia in Germany and of an information center on the reconstruction of the Berlin Palace. The building is landmarked. |
