Exhibiting Telephone Progress at theWorlds Fair THROUGHOUT the entire period of the Worlds Fair, thetelephone exhibit proved to be one of the most popularand most talked of features at A Century of Progress Exposi-tion in Chicago. Judging from the large crowds which theexhibit attracted, the animated interest which the visitors dis-played, and the widespread favorable comment which thedemonstrations stimulated, there can be little doubt that thetelephone exhibit was a highly successful public relations un-dertaking, both for the Bell System and for the telephone in-dustry as a whole.
