Summary

Description
English: Beehive Doocot at Congleton Gardens. Probable 16th century beehive-type doocot with a flattish domed roof covered with small stone slabs. Pigeons would have entered through an opening in the centre of the roof and there were 700 nests within. Now ruinous it was used as a pigsty until the recent collapse of part of the roof.
