Summary

Description Spiral stairs in tower of St Michael and All Angels Church, Beckwithshaw, North Yorkshire, England. The stairs go from the ground to the bell-ringers' chamber only. There is no hand rail and the stairs are narrow and steep, however they are well lit with electric light. Note the curved cut stones of the inside wall of the stairwell. There is no public access to the bell chamber or the roof.
